Welcome to the first SEQTA newsletter for 2015. We hope that you have enjoyed a reasonably smooth start to the school year.
As SEQTA continues to develop both our product suite and service capabilities, our team is also growing. This year we welcome two new members to our Executive team, Tim Simkiss as our Chief Operations Officer, and Tim Brewer as an Executive Director. Both gentlemen bring a wealth of experience and talent to our existing team – you can read more about them in our Staff News article. In addition, Wayne Starick joins our Adelaide office in a part time capacity and Martin Meneham has joined our Melbourne office. Wayne and Martin will be working as School Relationship Managers in their respective states, providing high levels of customer service to SEQTA schools.
As our users will know, we launched our biggest release yet – Xenial Xenops – in January. While it is always our aim to deliver a release that is of outstanding quality, we experienced some problems, and this, regrettably, caused significant impact on some of our users, most notably attendance officers. While we have worked tirelessly to remedy any outstanding issues, we apologise to all who were impacted by the issues with the release. We sincerely appreciate the the patience, grace and understanding you have shown to us during this time.
In order to ensure that we do not miss the mark with any future releases, we have made extensive changes to our testing and release procedures. We are confident that we will continue to meet your high expectations with all future releases.
We hope 2015 is an awesome year for you and your community and we look forward to supporting you to teach more, know more and, most importantly, stress less.
