Conferences are great opportunities for our SEQTA team to meet more teachers and school leaders. These conversations provide us with even greater insight into how we can serve the teachers in our community.

FutureSchools | Were You There?

SEQTA attended and presented at the FutureSchools Expo at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney on March 11 and March 12.

FutureSchools Expo hosted approximately 1500 attendees, 80 speakers and 80 + stands with products and services featuring the latest in technology for education. There was tremendous energy as teaching professionals gathered to share and learn from speakers and one another. Case studies were used to look strategically at the future of education with a focus on the changes to the physical learning spaces and of course the virtual learning environment.

SEQTA’s National Solutions Manager, Chris Marley, presented to an enthusiastic group. Understanding the priorities of his audience, Chris entitled his presentation ‘How to track a student’s progress via one screen’. He explained that even with the very best of intentions, technologies created to assist teachers were actually creating more work by silo-ing information.   Chris then demonstrated that in contrast, SEQTA allowed our teachers to see all they needed to see via just one screen.
